The 2015 edition of the HEADIES award which was also the 10th edition of the event ended in quite a sad note as two heavyweights in the music industry clashed.
It started when Mavins act Reekadobanks won the Next-rated award ahead of YBNL's Lil Kesh. This didn't go down well with YBNL boss Olamide who had the opportunity to express himself when one of his Soldiers "Adekunle Gold" won the best alternative song. He said Lil Kesh has had back to back hits hence deserved the award. He was quite brutal in his comments because he used the F*** word a couple of times.
Mavin Boss Don Jazzy added fuel to the burning fire while receiving his lifetime award when he called Olamide. He advised him to come get the SUV Vehicle gifted to Reekado as a result of winning the Next Rated award.
